2 & 4 Wheels has successfully run two training courses for senior club officials who have responsibility for handling the media at events. The courses, delivered by Belfast-based professional media company, Channel 56, aimed to equip club officials with the necessary skills for handling the media following a major incident. This can be a difficult time for senior officials and the need to engage with the media clearly and accurately is essential.

The training courses, which to date have been attended by 14 senior officials from ANICC, MCUI-UC and NIKA, consisted of a number of 'mock' TV and radio interviews based on realistic scenarios. By the end of the one-day workshops, participants had developed the skills and confidence necessary to deal with the media and as such had a deeper insight and understanding of the media industry.
